The Rehabilation and Reconstruction Agency (BRR) Aceh-Nias  is the organization authorized the supervision of all reconstruction activities in Aceh.  RAN (Recovery Aceh Nias) database was launched on 28 October. RAN is a database system to track project approval and progress monitoring, an additional tool for BRR to strengthen coordination and identify gaps and overlaps

The Multi Donor Trust Fund for Aceh and North Sumatra is a partnership of the international community, Indonesian Government and civil society to support the recovery following the earthquakes and tsunami.

It contributes to the recovery process by providing grants for quality investments that are based on good practice, stakeholder participation and coordination with others. In doing so, the MDTFANS seeks to poverty, (re)build capacity, support good governance and enhance sustainable development.
